A word from Josepha:

Nowadays, Impressionism is without a doubt the most popular Western art movement. However, this has not always been the case. This talk will offer a brief insight into the reasons of the initial rejection of Impressionism, and why it became ultimately so widely appealing to this day. While doing so, we will explore little known facts and discuss anecdotes concerning Impressionist artworks and artists. Did you know for example that there is a link between Japanese art and Impressionism?
