If you do, you might enjoy “Un avion sans elle“, a book by Michel Bussi.
This book is a detective novel (un roman policier, ou un polar). It starts with a plane crash (un avion qui s’écrase) in December 1980, in the Jura, mountains in France on the Swiss border (à la frontière suisse). There is only one survivor, a three month old little girl the newspaper call dragonfly (une libellule). The problem: there were two baby girls in that plane, and no one knows which one has survived. Two families will fight for her, and this is the story of the investigation… an 18 years one!
This is definitely a page turner (on ne peut pas s’arrêter de le lire)!
